NRP at Bench-to-Boardroom
Norwich Research Park was well represented at One Nucleus’ Bench-to-Boardroom event at Newmarket Racecourse on 8th March 2011.
With a Norwich Research Park stand and colleagues attending from Norwich Research Park Enterprise, NRP Innovation Centre, John Innes Centre, the Genome Analysis Centre and University of East Anglia, many useful contacts were made.
We were able to highlight the scientific excellence and state-of-the-art facilities available on the Research Park as well as our business and consultancy services. Also, focus was given to the available office/laboratory accommodation and space for build to suit.
Bench-to-Boardroom is One Nucleus’ annual networking event aimed at the Life Sciences and Healthcare Sector. It provides an excellent networking opportunity to learn more about all aspects of business relating to the life science and healthcare sector – specifically biotech and medtech. Keynote speakers included Sir Gregory Winter, Medical Research Council and Martino Picardo, Stevenage Bioscience Catalyst.
One Nucleus was formed in April 2010 by the merger of two regional life science networks, Cambridge based ERBI and the London Biotechnology Network creating a commercial, clinical and academic powerhouse.
The event attracted approaching 400 attendees, and 58 exhibitors.
