Hot Desks and Virtual Offices for science micro-businesses
Norwich Research Park is promoting high quality, low outlay facilities for science and science-based businesses in their infancy, by offering ‘virtual offices’ and ‘hot desks’ in the recently opened NRP Innovation Centre.
Small and start up businesses will have a range of highly flexible options at the NRP Innovation Centre, which start with a telephone answering and forwarding service and Norwich Research Park address, to a ‘hot desk’ in a reserved suite, that also includes telephone answering, mail forwarding, high-speed broadband, video conferencing and shared facilities such as printers and copiers, meeting rooms, reception services, car parking and catering facilities.
NRP Innovation Centre project co-ordinator, John Irving, said: “It is vital for very small, new businesses to keep overhead costs under control. Our virtual office and hot desking facilities enable science entrepreneurs to rent space or services at highly flexible rates as and when they need them, with the added advantage of a prestigious address on the Norwich Research Park.
“By offering these services, we can provide science and science related businesses the facilities to grow their businesses from desk space rental to incubator units in the Norwich BioIncubator, before progressing to offices and laboratories in the NRP Innovation Centre or elsewhere on the Park.”
Details of virtual offices and hot desks, as well as all office and laboratory accommodation, is available from the NRP Innovation Centre on 01603 456664 and innovation@nrpic.com.
